About the Movie
-"Twins Nic & Tristan are pumped: Today's the Boom Kadoom Mega Dega skateboard
competition and they're ready to win! But their plans take a serious spill when
they realize it's their parents' anniversary too. Now they have to out-maneuver
the world's most efficient babysitter, a magical broken statue, a rabid security
guard, and an angry punk mob. If the boys are going to win Mega Dega and save
their parents' marriage, it's going to take all their skateboarding skills and a
little help from their friends. Not to mention an army of cockroaches." -

What the Stars are Saying
"The
next morning, we woke up at 7 am to shoot a movie in Glendale. For most of the
band, 9 am is unimaginably early. Getting up at 7 the morning after a festival
was pretty crazy, but totally worth it. The movie is about two young
skateboarding twins named Nic and Tristan. It felt just like shooting a music
video, except there were a couple kids on skateboards getting into trouble
onscreen. The kids are hilarious and really good at skating." - Metro
Station in this
blog
""I also have two other films coming out this year. “Opposite Day” and “Nic and Tristan”. In “Opposite Day” I play one of the leads Carla Benson an adorable, goody two shoes. In “Nic and Tristan” I play Lisa the gadget obsessed tomboy. Both movies are super Kool with a capital “K”. " - Ariel Winter in this interview
"On another front, my fishing/songwriting pal Dave Fredericks and I placed another song in a movie! It's tentatively titled "Nic & Tristan Ska8 Mega Dega," and the song is called "Let's Go!" Nic and Tristan Puehse are two amazingly talented kids, I've known them since they took their first breaths, and I've had a lifelong friendship with their parents Karen and Mike. How long? So long I remember when, at about nine years old, Karen wanted to marry Chris Hayes! Great movie for all you kids out there nine to ninety, and I was thrilled to be able to participate." - Johnny Colla on his myspace
"Along
the same lines, Dave Fredericks and I have contributed a song to this cool kids’
skateboard movie! The song is called “Let’s Go”, and I’ve known the amazingly
talented Puehse Twins (Nic and Tristan, the stars of the movie!) since they took
their first breaths!" - Johnny Colla in
this interview
