June 15, 2010: Extreme Sports Night with the Sacramento River Cats
+ This Thursday (June 17th), Nic & Tristan will be a part of the Sacramento River Cats Extreme Sports Night! The Sacramento River Cats are a minor league baseball team (also known as a farm team) for the Oakland Athletics! On Thursday, clips of Nic & Tristan skateboarding will be shown between innings and the first 2,500 people to enter the stadium will receive awesome River Cats skateboard decks. If you live in the Sacramento area you should definitely go! The River Cats will play against the Reno Aces this Thursday starting at 7:05pm at Raley Field in Sacramento.

The tricks are endless and the jumps never seem too high for Nic and Tristan Puehse, 12-year-old twin sensations and rising stars on the half-pipe and big screen.
The determination to land a jump started when these young dreamers were just six-years-old. They began wake boarding on Folsom Lake at four, and when the Folsom Skate Park opened just two years later the dare devil twins saw no reason not to hit the ramps and jump boxes.
"Our first board was a Scooby Doo board," said Tristan, whose curly hair distinguishes him from Nic. "Now we have over 50 with different logos sent to us from our sponsors."
And, when Hollywood called, the boys answered.
"It was kind of like skating, we just decided to try it and started taking acting lessons," explained Tristan of how they got their acting careers started.
The Puehse brothers have spent the last two years filming the soon-to-be released movie "Nic & Tristan Go Mega Dega," which will be available on DVD June 8, 2010.
Although skating and acting is a huge part of the Puehse boys' lives, they make sure to stay focused on school and other activities. They are home-schooled by their mom, Caryn, and stay active in a soccer league with friends.
"We do normal kid things and talk normal stuff like nerf guns and tricks," said Nic, in regards to their relationship with friends since their recent success. "They don't really ask many questions."
The twins are nothing but smiles when they talk about their goal of being a part of the X-Games in the future, but for now they are enjoying the process and just being kids.
